An information board is a structure for displaying and protecting printed information and changing it easily: notices, orders, schedules, visual aids. These boards are installed in offices, shops, schools and nurseries, medical and public institutions – anywhere visitors or staff need an up-to-date set of documents in front of them without sticking sheets onto a bare wall by hand.

What boards are made of: choosing by material

Depending on the purpose and location, you can order a board in one of four materials.

  • Plastic boards made of PVC – a panel on an aluminium frame with a choice of frame profile; graphics are applied with Oracal film or full-colour printing; mounted on keyhole hangers.
  • Acrylic boards – a clear acrylic base, light and more impact-resistant than glass of the same size; lettering in film or 3D acrylic letters. This is the only range in the section with a separate choice of mounting: decorative, or with a stand-off from the wall that casts a soft shadow.
  • Composite boards – a panel of aluminium composite (ACM), a rigid box; pockets slot into through-slots in the panel, so you can move them and change the layout without remaking the board.
  • Chipboard boards – the classic consumer information corner on a laminated chipboard base, with a finish chosen from the palette to suit your interior.

Choosing by purpose and design

Besides material, the boards in this section differ in how the information is accessed and what job they are chosen for.

  • Lockable display cases – every series in this range comes with a lock, and the acrylic or glass doors protect documents from unauthorised access and damage.
  • Flip display systems – clear pocket pages fixed on a ring mechanism that you leaf through like a book; handy when there is a lot of material that needs frequent updating.
  • Information boards – the basic range of panels: some models have pockets for changeable printed matter, others have fixed graphics printed or applied in film directly onto the surface.
  • Outdoor stands – structures for outdoor installation; the range includes several different solutions, from enclosed glazed sections to banner panels.
  • Boards for schools and nurseries – panels and sets of sign plates for classrooms, nursery groups and corridors of educational institutions.

How to choose the right board

If the information needs protecting from prying hands, choose the lockable range. If there is a lot of material that changes often, a flip display system on rings is more convenient than a panel with separate pockets. For a shop or office entrance, a plastic board with A4 pockets works well – it is light and easy to care for – or a chipboard consumer information corner. If you want the structure to look transparent and not overload the wall, go for an acrylic board: it is half the weight of glass of the same size and needs no reinforced mounting. Where the board stands in the open air, you need a dedicated outdoor structure rather than an ordinary wall panel – their materials and protection are different.

Made to order

All boards in this section are made to order: to the required format, number of pockets, frame colour or chipboard finish. For most models, the standard production time is 3–7 days; for outdoor structures, the lead time is agreed individually depending on the design. Your order can be based on a ready-made model from the subcategories above or on a custom design for a specific space.
