Billboards are widely used along roads and in many other locations.

The term "billboard" (a board for posting bills) originated in the USA at the beginning of the 20th century, when demand grew for renting space for large advertising images, especially along roads, as more and more people were buying cars.

There was an urgent need for advertising media that could reach a huge number of potential customers – drivers and passengers. And since billboards (advertising hoardings) did this job 100 % successfully, their popularity quickly spread far beyond the USA.

Serving both as an information and a wayfinding medium, today they firmly lead the field of outdoor advertising around the world, and our country is no exception.

A modern billboard is a freestanding structure on supports: a single- or double-sided board with a large advertising area that reaches both traffic and pedestrians (the most popular sizes are 3x6 m or 2x4 m, the so-called bigboard).

The main and most profitable locations are motorways, as well as busy city streets and junctions where traffic tends to build up.

Oddly enough, congestion actually works in the advertiser's favour here: a pole-mounted billboard (Odesa, Poltava, Zhytomyr) can easily get its message across, even from a distance, to someone bored in a traffic jam.

And if your advertising campaign aims to reach an audience of millions nationwide, you simply can't do without billboards! They are a convenient, accessible and large-scale way to make a big statement.

So if you want to buy a billboard (wholesale or retail) at a good price and quickly in Kyiv, Chernihiv or any other city, you've come to the right online shop! Taking into account your ideas and budget, our managers will suggest the best option to help your business succeed.

Why RVK Tashuta

With a concise, eye-catching billboard design and a well-chosen location, success is guaranteed – no doubt about it!

At RVK Tashuta, using our own equipment, we make durable, high-quality billboards (Dnipro, Sumy, Mykolaiv) with different numbers of display faces, in various sizes and in standard and custom shapes.

For the base of the advertising faces we use high-strength galvanised sheet that keeps the board from deforming. It withstands UV exposure and temperature changes, is highly resistant to mechanical damage and does not oxidise or corrode.

We apply the graphics to the billboard (Kyiv, Kyiv region) with colourfast self-adhesive Oracal film (lamination is recommended for full additional protection) or by printing on banner material, which is then fixed to the board. For short-term advertising, printing on BlueBack paper is used.

An attractive and cost-effective option is to cover the billboard face with waterproof reflective film with a gloss finish, which keeps it clearly legible even in poor visibility and after dark. This film is scratch-resistant, very strong and offers excellent colour stability.
