The more expensive, solid and strongest type of house sign is a metal house sign on a composite base, which does not corrode or warp.

An address sign made of coloured acrylic (PMMA) looks very smart and elegant. Acrylic resembles glass but does not shatter; it is highly impact-resistant and durable and comes in a wide range of colours.

Information can be applied to the sign using:

• self-adhesive coloured Oracal film;
• applied elements made of coloured acrylic;
• engraved elements that are then colour-filled.
