Plastic boards (consumer information corner)

A plastic “consumer information corner” board is a PVC panel with clear A4 pockets for the documents your customers need to see: no glass and no frame for each sheet, so you can swap the contents in seconds. This category has thirteen models, from a single-pocket board (300x410 mm) to a large ten-pocket board (1220x740 mm), so you can choose the right size for your premises rather than a one-size-fits-all option.

Board material:PVC, 3 mm
Pockets:clear plastic, 1 to 10 pcs; some models have a deep A4 pocket for a book
Graphics:Oracal 641 film appliqué in 60 colours, or full-colour printing at 1440 dpi
Frame:anodised aluminium, colour of your choice (optional)
Mounting:keyhole hangers
Production time:3-7 days

How many pockets do you need?

The models differ in the number of A4 pockets, from one to ten, so you can match the board to the documents you actually have instead of oversizing it. Compact boards with one to three pockets cover the minimum set of required papers at the entrance to a small shop or office; mid-size boards with four to six pockets let you sort documents by topic; the largest, with eight to ten pockets, hold the full set for a big outlet. On some models one of the pockets is deep enough for the complaints and suggestions book rather than individual sheets.

  • 1-3 pockets – the minimum set of documents at the entrance
  • 4-6 pockets – documents sorted by topic
  • 8-10 pockets – the full set for a large outlet; some models have a deep pocket for a book

Printing or film appliqué: what it means for your artwork

The lettering on the board is applied in one of two ways. Appliqué in coloured Oracal 641 film consists of plotter-cut pieces, each in its own colour, so artwork for it is accepted in vector format only. Full-colour 1440 dpi printing reproduces the whole image at once, including raster photos and gradients, so both raster and vector artwork will do. The method is chosen when you order, to suit your artwork, and is not tied to a particular model.

Mounting and frame

All models hang on keyhole hangers: the board sits flush against the wall on a couple of screws and takes up no floor space, so it fits narrow wall sections by the entrance. You can also have the board edged with an anodised aluminium frame; the frame colour is chosen separately and does not depend on the design of the board itself.

Why you need a consumer information corner

A “consumer information corner” board is a must for organisations and entrepreneurs who provide services or sell goods: it is required by the Law of Ukraine “On Consumer Protection”. It usually displays the opening hours, the seller’s details and regulatory documents – everything a customer is entitled to see without asking staff. Hang the board at eye level in an accessible, well-lit spot, usually by the entrance or near the till rather than at the back of the premises.

Separate pockets for your board

If you need to replace a pocket or add another one without replacing the whole board, clear A4 pockets are also sold separately – see pocket with double-sided tape. For outdoor locations, where the board stands on its own support rather than against a wall, choose a model from the Outdoor stands category – these are built to withstand the weather, not just for indoor use.

  • The frame finish and graphics method are chosen when you place your order.
  • Production time is 3-7 days for any model.
  • Artwork for appliqué must be vector; for printing, raster artwork is also fine.
