Acrylic products

One of the successful lines of RVK Tashuta's almost 20 years in business is the production of a wide range of acrylic products. You may not even realise how often you come across this unique material in everyday life, or how many tasks it could solve in organising a convenient workspace for your business!

Why are acrylic products in such high demand?

First, it is worth answering the question: what is acrylic, and what are its advantages? After all, it is used almost everywhere in everyday life – both at home and in industry.

There is probably no industry today, from medicine to construction, where acrylic has not found its niche.

Literature holders (desk holders, wall pockets), hanging and desk price tag holders, lottery drums, ballot boxes and product displays (for jewellery, mobile phones and more) are all made from acrylic!

Products made from laser-cut acrylic sheet have clear edges after finishing. They look neat and attractive, which matters in any business. Clear acrylic is an alternative to ordinary glass that is easy to work with and lighter. Coloured acrylic is there for creative ideas. It is also used in advertising products, illuminated signs and decorative finishes.

Other names for acrylic:

• sheet acrylic;
• acrylic glass;
• Plexiglas;
• polymethyl methacrylate.

With their huge range of uses, acrylic products have firmly established themselves as leaders in advertising and retail equipment – and with good reason. Because acrylic:

1. Is less dense and lighter than ordinary silicate glass, yet just as transparent, with the same ability to transmit and diffuse light.
2. Unlike ordinary glass, is impact-resistant, so it needs less care in use.
3. Lends itself to all kinds of machining and to thermoforming, so products of both simple and complex shapes can be made.
4. Is environmentally friendly and completely safe for people, as it gives off no toxic substances even when burning.
5. Is highly resistant to the environment and the weather.
6. Is colourless to begin with but can be tinted any colour.

That is why clear and coloured acrylic products look neat and attractive and are a full, cost-effective alternative to ordinary glass.
