An information board is a printable panel carrying changeable or fixed information, hung on the wall with keyhole hangers. The series in this category differ in panel material, application method and whether the content can be changed.
Three series come with pockets for changeable printed sheets; on the rest the image is applied directly to the surface and stays fixed. For some series the panel thickness is given as a range and is not shown as a separate filter on the page – see the detailed breakdown of each series below.
The plastic (21-11010), shaped plastic (21-11014) and composite (21-11020) boards come with pockets – three series out of six. This design is needed where the content is updated regularly: a consumer information corner, for example, must carry current documents rather than a one-off print, and a pocket lets you replace a sheet of paper without replacing the board itself.
Pockets are made for A5, A4 and A6 sizes and fixed with double-sided tape.
The background is applied in two ways: large-format printing at 1440 dpi (some models offer photo-quality printing) or an appliqué of self-adhesive film – Oracal 641 film, 60 colours.
Printing suits complex images with gradients and photos; appliqué suits single-colour logos and lettering where flat colour without halftones matters. A resolution of 720 dpi is used only for one series – the shaped 3D board (21-11130); where the other series offer printing at all, it is at the higher resolution of 1440 dpi.
PVC is used for two series: rectangular (21-11010) and shaped, cut to contour on a CNC milling machine (21-11014).
The aluminium composite panel (21-11020) is weather-resistant and suitable outdoors as well as indoors – although the category itself is designed for indoor settings, and for outdoor-only projects there is a separate category of outdoor stands.
Acrylic comes in clear (21-11120) or coloured (21-11121). On clear acrylic the image is applied in one of two ways: directly on the front surface or on the reverse of the sheet – in the second case the print shows through the acrylic and is protected from abrasion, which gives an "image under glass" effect.
Coloured acrylic is ordered in one of 24 base options – the Altuglas palette: 18 colours, 4 metallics and 2 translucents – and takes only film appliqué, no printing; artwork for it must be vector only.
There are no ready-made sizes in this category at all: every board is made to the customer's dimensions, and the price is calculated per square metre.
Panel thickness is a selectable option for only three series: the plastic and shaped plastic boards (21-11010, 21-11014) – from 2 to 10 mm, and the clear acrylic board (21-11120) – from 3 to 10 mm; the thickness filter is hidden, though, as the site does not show it in the specifications block. The composite, coloured acrylic and shaped 3D boards (21-11020, 21-11121, 21-11130) have a fixed thickness of 3, 3 and 4 mm respectively, with no choice.
All six series hang on the wall with keyhole hangers – there is no other mounting method in this category.
An extra protective laminate layer is available for three series – the plastic, shaped plastic and composite boards (21-11010, 21-11014, 21-11020); the clear and coloured acrylic boards and the shaped 3D board have no lamination. The same three series with pockets can also have a full-size cork surface for pins – as a separate option, independent of printing or appliqué.
