Colour coating on one side. Other finishes are available to order (uncoated, coated on both sides, anodised on both sides, natural stone)
Thermal properties
Because its plastic core is relatively thin and uniform, Alucobond is not a thermal insulation material.
Linear thermal expansion is determined by the aluminium sheets. The actual coefficient is 2.4 mm/m/100 K
The material withstands temperatures from -50 to +80 °C
Acoustic properties
Ventilated Alucobond façades significantly improve sound insulation: for example, the sound insulation of a lightweight concrete wall doubles
Colours
Alucobond buyers can choose from a wide range of standard and metallic colours or order a custom shade. Exceptional weathering resistance is achieved with PVDF-based polymer coatings followed by heat treatment
Mechanical properties
Alucobond is rigid and resistant to impact, mechanical damage and pressure, yet at the same time highly flexible and easy to bend. Its flexibility comes from aluminium sheets made of a special alloy (Peraluman 100, EN AW 5005 (AlMg1))
