Board with Glass and Lock, 420x600mm

The 420x600 mm board is built not in aluminium but in a laminated chipboard housing 60 mm deep. The housing is matched to the room's furniture: the chipboard colour is the same as the desks and cabinets, and the board no longer looks like an institutional add-on on the office wall. At the front is a clear 3 mm acrylic door with a lock; inside is a 3 mm PVC base.

Why the housing is 60 mm deep

A deep housing holds more than a sheet under glazing: it takes bulkier contents too — pockets and documents pinned in several layers. The door still closes flush without pressing on the contents.

Cork field for drawing pins

In the cork version, the field works like an ordinary corkboard, only under lock: documents are pinned with drawing pins, new ones can go over old ones, and pin holes stay in the cork, not on the base. In the magnetic version, magnets do the job instead of pins; in the printed version, the field gets a permanent background and header.

Housing colour is chosen separately

Chipboard comes in different decors — from white and black to wood grains. See the list on the chipboard palette page — it shows the current decors, and the housing is chosen from these.

This board goes into offices, reception areas, staff rooms and doctors' rooms — places where the wall is already furnished and a metal frame would look out of place. For a printed base face, send us your artwork.
