The stickers are made in accordance with "DBN V.2.2-40:2018 Inclusiveness of Buildings and Structures" and GOST ISO 17049

Requirements for placing tactile signs:

• Mounting height

  • The top edge of the sign must be no higher than 1600 mm and the bottom edge no lower than 900 mm above floor level.
  • The optimal height for the centre of the sign is 1400–1500 mm.

• Position

  • The sign must be installed to the right of the doorway at hand height.
  • If it cannot be installed on the right (for example, because of the wall structure), it may be placed on the door.

• Contrast and legibility

  • The text and background must contrast (for example, white text on a dark background).
  • Characters must be clear and easy to read, including tactile (raised) letters and Braille.

• Character size and relief

  • Letter height at least 15 mm.
  • Relief height 0.8–1.5 mm.
  • Spacing between characters at least 2 mm.

• Additional requirements

  • Materials must resist abrasion and mechanical damage.
  • Signs must be securely fixed so they cannot be removed by accident.
