Two-Module Information Board 420x600mm

The double information board is two independent modules, each with a 420x600 mm visible area, set in one laminated chipboard housing. Each module has its own door and holds its own A2 sheet, so the two sections do not get in each other's way: you change the timetable without opening the notices, and vice versa.

Why two modules

Different kinds of information run on different schedules. One compartment holds what changes once a year: the charter, a licence, a plan. The other holds current items: notices, orders, the timetable. Separate doors mean you do not have to take the whole board apart for one sheet.

The field: magnets or pins

The modules come in one of two finishes: magnetic holds sheets with magnets and leaves no marks; cork takes pins and drawing pins and lets you hang new items over old ones. This series has no printed graphics on the field — the design comes from the inserted sheet.

Housing

Laminated chipboard, with the decor from the current chipboard palette. The doors are an aluminium frame with clear acrylic; it needs the same care as any acrylic, and there is a separate article on that.

The double board is chosen by schools, housing offices, reception areas and security posts — places where permanent documents and changing notices need to hang on the same wall at the same time, both under lock.
