About product

About product Framed Acrylic Door Sign Plate with Raised Elements, 250x120mm

Door sign 250 mm wide and 120 mm high on a 3 mm coloured acrylic base. The sheet sits in an aluminium profile, so the edge is protected from chipping and the sign looks like part of the interior finish rather than a sticker.

Material	coloured acrylic 3 mm
Print method	raised overlay elements
Choose a colour	Altuglas coloured acrylic palette
3D elements	coloured acrylic 3 mm
Frame colour	Gold, Film-covered (60 colours), Silver

What we print and how

The raised elements are cut separately from "coloured acrylic 3 mm" and glued on top of the base.

How to choose the size

The size is chosen to fit the text, not the other way round: first decide how many lines you need and how long they are, then pick the format. Landscape formats suit a single line, portrait formats suit a job title and surname.

How it is mounted

Tape fails not because of the adhesive but because of poor contact: on textured plaster it only touches the peaks of the relief. Degrease the wall and give the adhesive a day to reach full strength; on rough surfaces use self-tapping screws.

Care

Never clean acrylic with glass cleaner: ammonia causes crazing, a network of micro-cracks that clouds the surface for good. Use soapy water and a microfibre cloth without pressing; more in caring for acrylic products. Abrasives, acetone and solvents are unsuitable for any of the materials.

These signs go on office and meeting room doors in offices, clinics, schools and salons — anywhere rooms need to be marked consistently across a whole floor. The profile colour is chosen when you order — aluminium frame.
