Two-Layer Plastic Door Sign Plate with Changeable Information, 150x70mm

Door sign 150 mm wide and 70 mm high on a 1.6 mm two-layer plastic base. The image is laser-ablated to the depth of the top layer, so it cannot be rubbed off or scratched — it is not paint on the surface.

What we print and how

• UV ink goes straight onto the material and cures instantly under UV light: there is no film layer and colours are not limited to a palette.
• Laser engraving removes the top layer, revealing the colour of the material itself in the design — it cannot be rubbed off.
• Both raster and vector artwork will do — the difference between vector and raster.

How to choose the size

The size is chosen to fit the text, not the other way round: first decide how many lines you need and how long they are, then pick the format. Landscape formats suit a single line, portrait formats suit a job title and surname.

How it is mounted

• Double-sided tape
• Decorative fixing (2 pcs) — decorative fixing
• Screws

Tape fails not because of the adhesive but because of poor contact: on textured plaster it only touches the peaks of the relief. Degrease the wall and give the adhesive a day to reach full strength; on rough surfaces use self-tapping screws.

Changeable information

The insert slides out and is replaced without taking the sign off the wall. This is handy wherever the content changes more often than the sign itself: offices, classrooms, meeting rooms.

These signs go on office and meeting room doors in offices, clinics, schools and salons — anywhere rooms need to be marked consistently across a whole floor.
