Information Board with Glass and Lock, 420x600mm

This board is made for a ready-made poster: the 420x600 mm visible area is sized for A2, the sheet goes in whole and is held flat by the glazing. The board has no face of its own — the design comes from the inserted sheet, and the housing simply keeps it under lock. Hence the construction: a laminated chipboard backboard and a single hinged glazed door in an aluminium frame with a vertical profile handle.

What this board is for

For a changeable printed poster: a timetable, an order, an evacuation plan, a monthly notice. Everything that needs to be seen is already printed on the sheet. The board makes sure the sheet is not taken, swapped or torn — and nothing more.

Door and lock

The door opens outwards by a full-height profile handle, and a key lock is included. The handle sits on the edge, so you open the door without touching the clear pane — no fingerprints on the glazing where people look most often.

The housing and its colour

The backboard is laminated chipboard, with the decor chosen from the current chipboard palette. The clear door pane is acrylic and needs the same handling as any acrylic sheet. Details are in the article on caring for acrylic products.

These boards are hung in building entrances and reception checkpoints, at the entrance to public buildings, on clinic floors and in production areas: wherever the poster changes on a schedule and nobody should be able to reach it in between.

• The series comes in 7 visible-area sizes: from 420x600 to 1000x1200 mm.
