Information Board with Doors and Lock, 420x600mm

The 420x600 mm board is closed by two hinged doors of 3 mm glazing in 25 mm aluminium profile. The hinged doors open outwards like a cabinet's, so you need to leave clear space in front of the board for the depth of the door. In return, you get full access to the base at once, and the 3 mm PVC base itself stays under the glazing.

Hinged doors: where this board fits

The door swings forward when opened, so the board is not placed in a narrow passage or tight against a corner. It works well on an open wall in a hall, reception area or office corridor — where there is already room in front of it to stop and read.

What goes on the base

• Full-colour printing — a permanent background and a header with the section name; they keep the design in place while the contents change.
• Magnetic finish — sheets are held by magnets, with no holes or marks.
• Cork finish — pins and drawing pins; a notice can be pinned on top of another.
• Flat vertical pockets of clear plastic — fitted on the base in some versions of the series.

Cam lock

The lock is included and sits on the door: only the person with the key changes the contents. That is the difference between this board and an open noticeboard, where a sheet can be pulled off in passing.

Used in reception areas, HR offices and on information walls in schools and utility companies. If the base is printed, you send your own artwork, and the design approval process is described in the article artwork approval rules.

• The series comes in 7 overall sizes: 420x600, 500x700, 600x800, 600x900, 700x1000, 800x1200 and 1000x1200 mm.
• The base finish is chosen when you order.
• Production time 3-7 days.
