Acrylic Cloakroom Number Tag 50x70mm, Single-Sided

This variant measures 50x70 mm, single-sided (1+0). The cloakroom tag is cut from 3 mm coloured acrylic with a domed top and a straight bottom. The dome moves the hole away from the flat edge, so the material around it doesn't chip from being taken off the hook every day, and the straight bottom leaves a flat area for a large number.

How to choose the size and type

• The series comes in 30x45, 40x60, 50x70 and 60x90 mm. The smaller size is lighter and cheaper in volume; the larger one can be read across the cloakroom counter.
• Single-sided (1+0): the number is on the front. Double-sided (1+1): the same number on both sides, so the tag can hang and turn freely on the hook without anyone having to flip it over.
• Width and height are chosen as a separate pair on the product page, so you can pick the closest size in the range for a non-standard coat rack.

Colour and material

The base is Altuglas coloured acrylic, in a palette of 26 colours. There are solid, translucent and metallic colours; the colour sets the contrast of the number, so choose it to suit the cloakroom interior rather than at random. What acrylic is and how it differs from other plastics is covered in our article on acrylic.

What can be applied

• Laser engraving without infill leaves the mark matt and lighter than the background. It is a relief in the acrylic itself and cannot be rubbed off.
• Engraving with one- or two-layer enamel infill: the enamel fills the recess, and a second layer makes the number denser and easier to see from a distance.
• Gold or silver enamel infill: for dark acrylic and upmarket cloakrooms where you want the number to have a metallic shine.
• UV printing: a full-colour image on top of the acrylic, for a gradient logo or brand mark that engraving cannot reproduce.

Care and durability

Clean acrylic with warm water, a drop of soap and a soft cloth. Ammonia-based glass cleaners and alcohol are harmful to it: they leave a network of micro-cracks on the surface that clouds the tag and cannot be polished out. An abrasive sponge leaves scratches for the same reason.

Indoors, out of direct sunlight, acrylic doesn't yellow and keeps its colour for years, and an engraved number doesn't wear off because it isn't applied on top but cut into the material. Read more in our article on caring for acrylic products.

Number tags are ordered for cloakrooms in theatres, restaurants and business centres, and for changing rooms in gyms and swimming pools. A cloakroom usually needs two tags per number: one stays on the hanger and the other goes to the guest, so bear this in mind when working out the print run.

Minimum order: 10 pcs. The unit price drops for orders of 20, 30, 50, 100, 500 and 1000 pcs or more. Production time 3-7 days. For a custom outline or logo, attach a sketch to your order as a file.
