About product Acrylic Information Board with 4 Pockets 550x760mm

The 550x760 mm clear board with four A4 pockets is vertical, for a narrow strip of wall. The four pockets sit in two rows of two, and the whole board is just over half a metre wide: a narrow wall section, a spot by a door, a pillar between windows. The base is 3 mm acrylic, and the wall shows through it.

Why the panel is clear, not white

Clear acrylic sets no background, so the documents are read against the wall itself. On light plaster the board almost disappears; on a dark finish it is the opposite: the clear parts and applied header stand out as a separate layer.

Wave on the top edge of the pocket

The shaped cut of the top edge is not just decoration. It gives you a place to grip the sheet and also rounds off the edge, which you would otherwise catch your sleeve on every time you change a document.

Acrylic as a material

Acrylic is lighter than glass, does not shatter and can be cut to any shape. Its properties and uses are covered in the article on applications of acrylic.
