About product Acrylic Information Board with Pockets 800x1090mm (9 Pockets)

The 800x1090 mm clear board with nine A4 pockets has no background at all: the wall it hangs on shows through the 4 mm acrylic. So this board does not clash with the room finish: it adds no patch of colour to the wall and simply brings the documents forward. The pockets are arranged in a three-by-three grid and held on standoff screws, with a gap from the panel.

Why the pockets have a gap from the panel

The pocket is not screwed down flush but through a standoff spacer. The sheet slides into the slot freely without catching on the screw, and the pocket itself casts a shadow on the clear panel, creating a pattern of light and shadow stripes on the wall that a flat board does not have.

Clear or coloured acrylic base

The base is clear by default, but you can order it in coloured acrylic: 25 options, including metallic, pearlescent and translucent. A clear base disappears on the wall; a coloured one turns the board into a surface with a background.

How the header is applied

There are two ways. Oracal film is cut to the outline of the artwork and applied to the acrylic, giving a flat lettering in an even colour. 3D acrylic letters are applied as separate pieces and add depth and shadow; in metallic and pearlescent finishes they read as metal.

How it is hung

Three options to choose from: decorative standoff fixings, 4 pieces, so the board hangs with an air gap; ordinary decorative fixings without standoff; self-tapping screws, when the fixings should not be visible. Clear acrylic needs careful handling; there is a separate article on caring for acrylic products.

These boards are used in offices, showrooms, clinics and reception areas, where the wall is already finished and any coloured board would look out of place.
