Aluminium Door Sign Plate with Changeable Information, 210x68mm

Door sign 210 mm wide and 68 mm high on an anodised aluminium base. The information sits on a replaceable insert rather than being printed on the base: if a staff member or the room's purpose changes, you just print a new sheet.

What we print and how

• The customer prints the insert: an ordinary sheet from an office printer will do.
• Both raster and vector artwork will do — the difference between vector and raster.

How to choose the size

The size is chosen to fit the text, not the other way round: first decide how many lines you need and how long they are, then pick the format. Landscape formats suit a single line, portrait formats suit a job title and surname.

How it is mounted

• Double-sided tape
• Self-tapping screws, wall plugs

Tape fails not because of the adhesive but because of poor contact: on textured plaster it only touches the peaks of the relief. Degrease the wall and give the adhesive a day to reach full strength; on rough surfaces use self-tapping screws.

Changeable information

The insert slides out and is replaced without taking the sign off the wall. This is handy wherever the content changes more often than the sign itself: offices, classrooms, meeting rooms.

• Clear PVC
• Clear PVC with 1-layer appliqué
• Clear PVC with full-colour print

You can also order the insert from us — plastic in various thicknesses.

These signs go on office and meeting room doors in offices, clinics, schools and salons — anywhere rooms need to be marked consistently across a whole floor.
