Clear Acrylic Door Sign Plate, per m²

Door sign made to your size on a 3 mm clear acrylic base. The ink goes straight onto the material and is cured by UV light, so the image does not peel and has no film layer.

What we print and how

• UV ink goes straight onto the material and cures instantly under UV light: there is no film layer and colours are not limited to a palette.
• Appliqué: the outline is plotter-cut from coloured film, with the colour chosen from Oracal 641 film, 60 colours.
• Both raster and vector artwork will do — the difference between vector and raster.

How to choose the size

The size is chosen to fit the text, not the other way round: first decide how many lines you need and how long they are, then pick the format. Landscape formats suit a single line, portrait formats suit a job title and surname.

If the standard range does not fit, the sheet is cut to your size and priced per square metre.

How it is mounted

• Double-sided tape
• Decorative fixing element (2 pcs)
• Decorative standoff fixing (2 pcs) — standoff fixing that holds the sign away from the wall
• Screws

Tape fails not because of the adhesive but because of poor contact: on textured plaster it only touches the peaks of the relief. Degrease the wall and give the adhesive a day to reach full strength; on rough surfaces use self-tapping screws.

Care

Never clean acrylic with glass cleaner: ammonia causes crazing, a network of micro-cracks that clouds the surface for good. Use soapy water and a microfibre cloth without pressing; more in caring for acrylic products. Abrasives, acetone and solvents are unsuitable for any of the materials.

These signs go on office and meeting room doors in offices, clinics, schools and salons — anywhere rooms need to be marked consistently across a whole floor.
