Changeable Information Signs, Moulding Frame, 300x150mm

Door sign 300 mm wide and 150 mm high on a 1 mm clear acrylic base. A moulding is applied around the perimeter on top of the sheet: it covers the edge and gives the sign a framed look, although there is no separate profile.

What we print and how

• The customer prints the insert: an ordinary sheet from an office printer will do.

How to choose the size

The size is chosen to fit the text, not the other way round: first decide how many lines you need and how long they are, then pick the format. Landscape formats suit a single line, portrait formats suit a job title and surname.

How it is mounted

• Double-sided tape
• Screws

Tape fails not because of the adhesive but because of poor contact: on textured plaster it only touches the peaks of the relief. Degrease the wall and give the adhesive a day to reach full strength; on rough surfaces use self-tapping screws.

Changeable information

The insert slides out and is replaced without taking the sign off the wall. This is handy wherever the content changes more often than the sign itself: offices, classrooms, meeting rooms.

You can also order the insert from us — plastic in various thicknesses.

Care

Never clean acrylic with glass cleaner: ammonia causes crazing, a network of micro-cracks that clouds the surface for good. Use soapy water and a microfibre cloth without pressing; more in caring for acrylic products. Abrasives, acetone and solvents are unsuitable for any of the materials.

These signs go on office and meeting room doors in offices, clinics, schools and salons — anywhere rooms need to be marked consistently across a whole floor. The profile colour is chosen when you order — aluminium frame.
