The 250x130 mm stand is L-shaped and carries two horizontal rows of small holes for stud posts. Large windows are cut between the rows and below the lower one: the showcase behind the stand shows through them, so no solid wall appears on the counter.

Two rows with windows between them
A solid panel with a dense grid of holes becomes a perforated sheet with nothing for the eye to catch on. The windows break the field into strips and give the display structure: top row, gap, bottom row. It works like a paragraph indent in text, which reads faster than a solid block.
Holes for studs
The diameter is sized for the post of a stud earring, not for a hook. The post goes right through and is secured with a back on the reverse side, so the earring stands perpendicular to the panel and faces the customer. Hook earrings cannot be hung on this stand: they need a crossbar.
A slope instead of upright
- The front panel tilts back, so the studs are visible from above and from the front.
- The base is bent and keeps the stand from tipping over.
- The stand is bent in one piece, with no joints or glue lines.
Care
Wash with warm water and a mild detergent using a soft damp cloth; rinse the small holes through if necessary. Ammonia-based glass cleaners cause an irreversible network of microcracks on acrylic, and wiping dry builds up static. More in acrylic care.
Used in jewellery department display cases, on costume jewellery counters and for stud earring displays. Material: acrylic, laser cut and heat bent.
