“Martini” is a fan-shaped panel with a large window in the middle, and the top bar of this window works as a crossbar: earrings hang straight on it, while drops dangle freely inside the cut-out. The product ends up framed, and the eye stops on it rather than on the background of the display.

A window that frames the jewellery
A solid panel shows an earring against its own background, and everything standing behind it ends up in the frame too. The through-window cuts a rectangle out of that background and outlines the jewellery, just like a mount around a picture. The drop hangs in empty space, and its silhouette reads without distraction.
A crossbar instead of holes
A round hole only takes earrings with a thin hook. A crossbar takes any fitting (lever-back, loop, hoop) because it holds by the shape of the edge, not the diameter. Two elongated slots above the window add room for light drops.
Clear or black acrylic
- A clear panel leaves only the jewellery in the frame.
- A black one turns the window into a bold graphic frame.
- Against a dark field, light silver stands out more and is visible from further away.
Care
The window edge is where the metal of the fittings touches most often, and that is where scratches appear. Wash with warm water, a mild detergent and a soft damp cloth; ammonia-based glass cleaners leave an irreversible network of micro-cracks on acrylic. More details: caring for acrylic products.
Used in jewellery department display cases, on costume jewellery counters and on fair stalls. Material: acrylic; the panel slots into the oval base.
