"Fountain of Emotions" Earring Display

'Fountain of Emotions' is a panel cut into wave-like curls, with small holes all along its outline. The earrings hang along a curve that follows the pattern, so the display stops being a list: customers look at the composition and find a particular pair within it.

Holes follow the outline, not rows

An even grid of holes forces you to hang jewellery in a grid, and every pair in it looks the same. Here the positions run along the curls, at different heights and spacings, so even similar earrings do not blend together. None of them needs a separate price tag holder to stand out — its position does that.

The panel stands in a slot in the base

The base is long, with a lengthwise slot: the panel fits into it and is held by friction. The support extends well in front of and behind the panel, which a tall thin piece needs — otherwise it would tip under the weight of the products hung on it.

How many pairs to hang

• There is no need to fill every hole: the pattern only reads with gaps.
• Heavy drops are best hung closer to the base.
• Spread out similar pairs rather than placing them side by side.

Caring for clear acrylic
