Display stand with 3 shelves, 340x375x100 mm. Three sloping pocket shelves: the surface dips slightly inwards and rises at the front edge, so packaging sits in a hollow rather than on a slope. The stand rests on two arched runner feet, and the back is open.

A pocket shelf instead of a slope

A sloping shelf with a lip holds products in a single line along the front edge. A shelf that dips slightly inwards gathers the packaging towards the middle by itself: the row does not spread out to the sides, even when some of the products have been taken.

Three levels, open at the back

• the slope turns the front of the packaging towards the shopper;
• the raised front edge stops products sliding off;
• the back is open — you can see right through the stand, and it does not darken the display case.

Shelf thickness and width

Thickness is chosen by the weight of the display and the unsupported span of the shelf between the sides. The dipped profile is stiffer than a flat one in itself, but under heavy products the difference between a thin and a thick sheet shows up as sag, not just in theory.

Care

Glass cleaner leaves an irreversible web of microcracks on acrylic. Wash with warm water, a mild detergent and a soft cloth, and wipe damp — dry wiping charges the surface with static and attracts dust. More in caring for acrylic products.

The stand goes on a counter, in a display case or on a shop shelf — for small packaging that gets lost in a flat row. It is cut and bent from acrylic sheet.
