The 315x210x133 mm shelf unit holds three inclined shelves between two solid side panels, and each shelf has an upturned front stop. The tilt turns the bottles label-first towards the customer, and the stop keeps them from sliding forward, so the row stays neat and doesn't spread out by the end of the day.

Inclined shelves, not a flat surface
On a horizontal shelf, nail polish shows the cap and the top of the bottle; the colour, which is the whole reason to buy it, is only visible from above. An inclined shelf holds the bottle at an angle, so the shade can be read straight from the counter. Three shelves give three rows, all visible at once.
Front-edge stop
An inclined surface without a stop is a slide. The upturned edge catches the bottoms of the bottles and holds them in place, yet it is low and doesn't cover the label. When one bottle is taken from the shelf, the others stay put rather than sliding into the gap.
Solid sides
- Make the whole structure rigid.
- Close off the ends of the rows so products don't fall off the side.
- Slots hold the shelves at equal spacing.
Care
Wipe off spilt nail polish straight away, without solvent: acetone clouds acrylic for good. Clean with warm water, a mild detergent and a soft damp cloth, and don't use glass cleaners with ammonia. More in caring for acrylic products.
