The 4-piece stand is an angled acrylic panel for four frames. The temples go into round holes in the panel, and the glasses hang on them; at the back, a curved support rib sits between the base and the panel.

Four places — two pairs
An even-numbered display invites comparison by itself: similar models go side by side, and the customer sees pairs rather than a list. These two share a shape and differ in colour; these two are one line in two versions. A choice from four items is made faster than from a long row where the eye has nothing to catch on.
The frame hangs rather than lies
The holes here are load-bearing: a pair of holes takes the temples, and the whole frame hangs on them. The lens rests neither on the panel nor on the neighbouring glasses — there is air between the frames, and it is exactly that kind of contact that scratches lens coatings.
The brace holds the angle
- The curved rib at the back connects the base to the panel.
- It braces them apart and stops the acrylic from bending under the weight of the display.
- The angle stays the same as on day one.
The panel is held not by the acrylic itself but by the brace — so the angle does not change, however many frames sit on it.
