This 70x190x125 mm stand holds eight mascara tubes crosswise: two sloping combs cascade down from the top of the back panel, and each tube rests in a pair of cut-outs at once. Lying on its side, the tube shows its whole label; standing upright, it would show only the cap.

Mascara lies down, not stands up
A mascara tube is narrow and tall, and in an upright slot the shopper sees the cap and a centimetre and a half of the body. The name, shade and brush type are printed on the side, visible only when the tube is turned on its side. The cascade of combs turns the whole display exactly that way.
A cascade instead of a row
The cut-outs step down from the back panel to the counter, so each tube lies lower than the one before and is not hidden by it. All eight items can be taken in at a glance, whereas in a single row they would stretch across a third of a metre of counter.
Paired cut-outs
- The tube rests on two points and does not roll.
- The label stays turned towards the shopper.
- The cut-out shape takes both round and faceted tubes.
Care
Cosmetics leave greasy marks on acrylic, and they show more than on a matt surface. Wash with warm water, a mild detergent and a soft damp cloth. Do not use glass cleaners with ammonia: they cause an irreversible web of micro-cracks. More detail: caring for acrylic products.
