Earring Display 80x80mm

The 80x80 mm stand holds earrings by the hook: each petal-shaped branch has small through holes, and a pair hangs freely without touching the base. It shows the jewellery the way it will hang from the ear, not the way it lies in a box.

Earrings hang rather than lie

In a tray, jewellery is seen flat from above: a drop earring is folded and its length cannot be judged. Hung by the hook, an earring straightens under its own weight, and the customer immediately sees how long it is and how it will swing with movement. For drops and chandelier earrings, that is half the buying decision.

Clear or black

Choose the base to suit the product, not the other way round. Clear acrylic disappears behind the jewellery and does not compete with coloured stones. Black works as a backdrop: light silver and small stones stand out more against it, and there is less glare from display lighting. In a mixed display it makes sense to use both.

Do not fill every place at once

• A tightly packed stand looks like a sale, not a showcase.
• Neighbouring pairs get tangled, and each one has to be sorted out by hand.
• Free space around a piece signals that it is valuable.

Care: metal scratches acrylic

Clasps and hooks are harder than acrylic, and constant re-hanging leaves fine scratches around the holes. Wash with warm water and a mild detergent using a soft damp cloth, and do not use ammonia-based glass cleaners: they cause an irreversible network of microcracks. More in acrylic care.

This stand belongs in a jewellery department showcase, on a costume jewellery counter or on a fair stall. Material: acrylic; the upright slots into the base and can be removed for transport.

Production time: 3-7 days.
