Shoe Insert 25x160x180mm

A shoe insert, 160 mm high. A curved outline strip with an inner cut-out rests on horizontal feet, and its ends are bent up into hooks. The insert works from the inside: it goes into the shaft or soft upper of the pair and holds the shape where the shoe would otherwise slump and crease.

What inner support gives you

Without filling, a boot or soft ankle boot flops over to one side, and shoppers see a crumpled shaft instead of the model. The insert holds the upper open from the inside and stays invisible: clear acrylic does not show against the lining.

The inner cut-out removes excess material: the strip flexes and adapts to the width of the shaft instead of forcing it out rigidly.

Two heights

• the lower one supports a low upper: ankle boots, short boots and high-top trainers;
• the taller one is designed for knee-high boots and supports the shaft along its full length;
• inserts of different heights are paired in one shoe if the upper has a complex silhouette.

Bent ends

The ends of the strip are bent up into hooks. This removes the sharp edge that would press into the lining and gives you something to grip when taking the insert out without turning the shoe inside out.

Care

Ammonia-based glass cleaner clouds acrylic with a network of micro-cracks, and polishing cannot fix it. Clean with warm water, a mild detergent and a soft cloth, always while damp: caring for acrylic products.

The insert works in shoe shop windows and on podiums, wherever pairs are shown without a box. It is laser-cut from sheet acrylic and bent along a heated line.
