Acrylic Information Board, 8mm Acrylic

The board is made from a single solid sheet of clear acrylic: there is no frame and no applied parts, so the graphics go directly onto the sheet. The image is applied by printing or cut film, and you can choose the side: on the face or on the reverse of the clear acrylic.

Printing or appliqué — what's the difference

• printing — a full-colour image in a single layer: photos, gradients, diagrams, small text, logos with complex fills;
• appliqué — cut film where each colour is laid as a separate layer: solid single-colour headings, lettering and blocks; an individual element can be replaced;
• direct application to the face — the layer sits on top, on the viewer's side;
• application to the reverse — the image is read through the clear sheet.

Size and thickness when ordering

The board is made to the customer's size: you give the width and height, the sheet is cut to those dimensions, and there is no need to adapt the artwork to standard formats. The thickness is chosen from the five versions in the series — 3, 4, 6, 8 and 10 mm. More about the material — in the article Where acrylic is used.

Surface care

Clean clear acrylic with a soft cloth and soapy water, without abrasives; the steps are described in the article Caring for acrylic products.

This board is used in shops, schools, shopping centres and all kinds of organisations — wherever you need a neat information surface without a bulky frame: a consumer information corner, a floor plan, rules, opening hours. Mounting — keyhole hangers.
