A stand for two plates with a price tag holder, overall size 80x100x120 mm. It differs from a standard one in two ways: the platform is inclined rather than horizontal, and a tab along the bottom edge is bent up to form a price tag pocket. The incline turns the plate face-on to the customer, and the price tag sits in the same plane as the product, so it does not get lost on the shelf.

Why the slope
A plate standing upright shows the customer its edge. Tilted back, it shows the whole pattern and glaze. The back wall then takes the weight rather than just propping it up: the greater the tilt, the more steadily a heavy plate stands.
Price tag in the same plane as the product
- the bent tab along the front edge holds the price tag upright;
- the price tag is not laid on the shelf next to it and does not slide away during cleaning;
- the customer does not have to work out which plate the price belongs to.
How to choose the size
Measure the rim and depth of the plate, not its diameter: on an inclined platform a deep bowl sits differently from a flat plate of the same size. The lengthwise strips on the platform set exactly where the bottom edge will rest.
Care
Glass cleaner leaves a network of micro-cracks on acrylic: ammonia damages the surface irreversibly, and polishing can no longer remove it. Wash with warm water and a mild detergent using a lint-free cloth.
Wipe damp, not dry: a dry cloth charges acrylic with static, and dust settles more heavily. More details: caring for acrylic products.
This stand belongs on the counter and in the display case of a tableware shop, where the price needs to be read at a glance. It is bent from a single sheet of acrylic with no joints, so the price tag pocket has no screws or glued seams.
