The 80x100x120 mm stand for two plates is a bracket bent from a single acrylic sheet: a horizontal platform with a low front lip and a tall back wall tilted backwards. The plate stands on its edge and leans against this wall, so it doesn't tip forwards. The platform has three lengthwise strips that set the places and hold the bottom edge.

How to choose the size
Look not at the plate's diameter but at its rim and depth: a flat plate and a deep bowl of the same diameter sit differently. Measure the rim height before ordering — that is what rests on the platform and against the back wall.
What holds the plate
- the back wall takes the weight of the plate standing on its edge;
- the lengthwise strips on the platform fix the bottom edge and stop the glaze sliding on the smooth acrylic;
- the front lip covers the edge of the platform and makes the structure more rigid.
The taller the plate, the more proportion matters: a low support won't hold the centre of gravity, and the plate will tip forwards.
How it is made
The item is bent from a single sheet of acrylic along a heated line, with no joins or seams. A proper bend stays clear: a whitish line along the bend means the sheet was bent before it was fully heated.
The edges are polished after cutting. On a clear item the edge can be seen right through and works as an optical facet, so a saw cut on it shows immediately.
Care
Acrylic is softer than glass, and its main enemy is not impact but glass cleaner: ammonia attacks the surface and leaves a network of micro-cracks that can no longer be polished out.
Wash with warm water, a mild detergent and a soft cloth, and wipe while damp. Wiping dry builds up static on the surface, and dust settles even more thickly. More in caring for acrylic products.
The stand is designed for shop windows and shelves in tableware shops: clear acrylic doesn't compete with the product, and customers see the plate, not the structure under it.
