A clear stand for three plates, overall size 120x120x58 mm. A single bent part: an inclined surface with lengthwise cut-outs that form a row of arched bridges over a common base. The plates stand on edge in the slots, tilted face-on to the customer, and are held not by a shelf but by the edges of the slots themselves.

A slot instead of a shelf
A shelf hides the lower part of the plate and adds an unnecessary horizontal line to the display. A slot holds the plate by its edge and is almost invisible, so the display case shows a row of plates, not a row of stands under them.
What the slope gives you
- the plate faces forward instead of showing its edge;
- the weight shifts to the back of the part rather than the front edge;
- the three plates stand at an even spacing and do not slide towards each other.
How to match the tableware
The deciding dimensions are the thickness and height of the plate rim: the rim should slip into the slot freely without wobbling in it. The diameter matters less here and is limited only by the distance to the next plate in the row.
How it is made and how to care for it
The slots are laser cut, and the part is bent from a single sheet of acrylic along a heated line; when fully heated, the bend stays clear.
Glass cleaner is a no-go for acrylic: ammonia leaves a network of micro-cracks, irreversibly. Wash with warm water and a mild detergent, and wipe with a damp soft cloth: caring for acrylic products.
The stand is used in tableware shop display cases and for displaying decorative plates, where the row should read as a single front.
