Plastic Plate Stand, 120x190x120mm

An easel stand for a plate, size 120x190x120 mm. An inclined central rib and two curved supports with upturned stops for the bottom edge. The plate stands at an angle facing the customer, while the stand itself is barely visible: the acrylic is clear, so the display shows the product, not the structure under it.

Three sizes for three ranges of tableware

The series comes as a size range, and you choose by tableware, not by taste. Measure the rim and depth of the plate: a flat plate and a deep bowl of the same diameter sit in the stops differently.

A stand that is low for its plate won't hold the centre of gravity — the plate will tip forwards. Proportion matters more than a margin here.

Thickness to suit the display weight

The thickness isn't chosen by eye: it depends on the weight of the plate and the span left between the supports. A thin sheet on a long span flexes, while extra thickness only adds weight. Light decorative tableware needs the thinner option; heavy ceramics need the thicker one.

What holds the plate

• the upturned stops take the bottom edge;
• the inclined rib at the back carries the weight;
• the curved supports spread the load across the table rather than concentrating it at one point.

Care

Glass cleaner does irreversible damage to acrylic: ammonia leaves a network of micro-cracks that polishing can't remove. Wash with warm water and a mild detergent, and wipe with a damp soft cloth — a dry one builds up static on the surface and attracts dust. What else matters — caring for acrylic products.

The stand works in display windows and on counters in tableware shops, and in gift and souvenir departments. It is bent from sheet acrylic along a heated line — the bend stays clear if the sheet is fully heated.
