The 100x77x124 mm tray is assembled from flat parts: a sloping bottom, two shaped side panels and a back comb with teardrop-shaped notches. Five pens lie at an angle against the toothed front edge, which acts as a stop and keeps them from rolling forward.

A teardrop notch instead of a semicircle
A semicircular notch holds an item of one diameter. A teardrop notch narrows towards the bottom, so it takes both a slim pen and a thicker barrel: the narrow part catches the first, the wide part the second. You do not have to fit the display to the fixture — the fixture adapts to the display.
Toothed front edge
An ordinary solid lip covers the bottom third of the item. The teeth hold just as securely, but leave gaps between them, so the pen barrel is visible almost in full. For a product with lettering near the base this matters: otherwise that is exactly the part you cannot see.
Shaped side panels
- They provide rigidity — the tray does not fold under load.
- They keep the angle of tilt the same across the whole width.
- They are laser cut to shape, and the edge comes out smooth without further finishing.
What to clean the tray with
The bottom of a sloping tray collects dust faster than vertical walls, so it needs washing more often. Warm water and a mild detergent, a soft cloth, always damp. Never use glass cleaners containing ammonia: they leave a network of micro-cracks on acrylic, and the clarity is gone for good. Full guide — acrylic product care.
Five slots is the right size for a checkout shelf, a display case with souvenir stationery or a desk. The holes take a barrel up to 12 mm. Material: clear acrylic.
