Smartphone Stand with Price Tag Holder, 100x200mm. A bent base with a support ledge and a curled front lip runs into an upright back panel whose top is cut to a shaped outline and serves as a text area. The panel rises above the phone, so the text is seen above it, not beside it.

Text area above the phone

A price tag placed next to the phone on the counter gets lost among the others and moves when the counter is cleaned. An area raised above the phone is read from the same distance as the phone itself and always refers to it.

The shaped cut-out of the top edge marks the boundary of this area for the eye: the customer sees where the structure ends and the message begins.

Film appliqué

The panel carries a single-layer film appliqué: the colour is cut from film and applied to the acrylic, not printed. This kind of image keeps its saturation and does not fade in patches the way print does. Colours are chosen from the Oracal 641 film palette.

What holds the phone

• the curled front lip takes the bottom edge of the phone;
• the support ledge sets the tilt;
• the upright panel serves as both the back and the text area.

Care

Glass cleaner leaves an irreversible network of micro-cracks on acrylic. Wash with warm water, a mild detergent and a soft cloth, and do not rub the appliqué area hard: caring for acrylic products.

The stand is designed for the counter and display case of a mobile phone shop where the display carries the shop's brand or a permanent message about the model.
